U.S. History Unit 4 – The Revolutionary Era

The Our History in the United States course is designed for your middle or high school student, and it covers OUR history in the United States from ancient times to present day. Unit 4 covers the Revolutionary Era and the impact that slavery had on the colonies’ decision to declare independence. It also highlights our ancestors’ contributions to the American Revolution and the contradiction between the occupiers’ demands and their treatment of Blacks. This unit includes writing prompts and lessons and a math assignment (percentages and charts). It encourages the student to make connections between the past and the present.
