U.S. History Unit 3 – Early Colonial America Exploration and Settlement

The Our History in the United States course is designed for your middle or high school student, and it covers OUR history in the United States from ancient times to present day.  Unit 3 provides in-depth information about the Age of Exploration and Exploitation and English colonization, and their impact on Africans in the colonies.  It also highlights our ancestors’ ability to overcome adversity.  This unit also includes map work, writing prompts and writing lessons, as well as encourages the student to make connections between the past and the present.  A high school supplement is included to add additional assignments and rigor for your high school level students.
