The look is clean and not distracting while not being bland or sparse either. The writing exercises emphasize in depth thinking which is always a plus. Also, the resources at the end are amazing and very helpful.

I love the content. It is simple enough to grasp new concepts, but coupled with the questions and writing assignments it’s challenging enough to stretch the student to think deeply.

I have had the pleasure of previewing this entire preschool workbook. It’s digital and AFROCENTRIC! I have used other resources from Black Classical Academy, currently using Unit 3 in the OURstory series, and can’t wait to use this new preschool workbook with my littles!!!

I just purchased all 5 units for next year! I like this even more than Molefi Kete Asante’s work for kids that’s now more than 20 years old. I love how your lessons are straight to the point, draw connections to today and empower kids to think critically/creatively without overwhelming them. I believe this will stand in for some language arts work, too. This is exactly what I have been looking for. Thank you!!!

We needed some roots to our history curriculum. Found these workbooks at Black Classical Academy. This month we are focusing on Women’s History and today’s lesson is about Queen Nanny, a fearless warrior who fought for Jamaica against British domination. I love the Black Revolutionaries workbook as it offers vocabulary and reading comprehension. It asks awesome questions that provoke great discussion. Engaging and informative.
