The look is clean and not distracting while not being bland or sparse either. The writing exercises emphasize in depth thinking which is always a plus. Also, the resources at the end are amazing and very helpful.

We needed some roots to our history curriculum. Found these workbooks at Black Classical Academy. This month we are focusing on Women’s History and today’s lesson is about Queen Nanny, a fearless warrior who fought for Jamaica against British domination. I love the Black Revolutionaries workbook as it offers vocabulary and reading comprehension. It asks awesome questions that provoke great discussion. Engaging and informative.
